Describing a problem with your doors or windows or indeed what you want changing is never easy. I suppose its like describing a fault with your car, but it always turns out to be something else the mechanic finds wrong. At Quantum Locksmiths we offer free advice and estimates of cost. We follow a set of questions which allow us to narrow down the cause of the problem.

The most important thing to remember is the answer is ‘Yes’ we can help regardless of the lock problem.

• On phoning us you will be answered by our friendly engineers who are always happy to chat with new people.
• The Engineer will write down the symptoms described by you and your personal details.
• We will ask you a short series of questions for example; ‘is it a wooden, UPVC or metal door’. Knowing this will give us a better idea of the type of locks/mechanisms/furniture on the doors.
• Once we have an agreed idea of the problem then a free estimate can be given.

Sometimes customers require an engineer to attend their property and provide a quote prior to committing to the work. Quotes can be given after the inspection, but a more formal detailed quote can be submitted upon requested.

We never try to sell unnecessary parts or repairs but will always provide the best security advice and quality parts possible. At the end of the day you are our customer and we strive in providing you exactly what you want.

We also promote customers watching the engineers carrying out repairs or replacements and answer any questions you have about what we are doing. This generally gives the customer a sense of trust in seeing what and how we do things.
